Fabulous Bag Using Stampin' Up! Fabric!

I am so lucky to have a friend who is an excellent seamstress!  Especially, since I am "sewing-challenged."  I just love the different fabrics from Stampin' Up! and I can add them to cards and scrapbook pages, but look at what my friend made:
Is this fabulous, or what???  This bag uses the Sweet Stitches fabric.  It is reversible, washable, and just so stinkin' cute!  She designed pockets to hold our ink pads!

There are six pockets and each one holds two ink pads, so you can easily bring a dozen ink pads with you for stamping on-the-go.  The best part is, the bag is reversible, so you can choose to have the pockets on the inside or outside of the bag.  And, the new Stampin' Up! Scoring Tool fits perfectly inside!

Thank you, Karen, for your creativity!  Your tote bags are just fabulous (and so are you!!!).

The new Holiday Stocking Die is (pardon the pun) to die for!!!

When I first laid eyes on the new Holiday Mini Catalog, the first thing that caught my attention and started my creative wheels turning was the new Holiday Stocking Die for the Sizzix Big Shot machine.  I knew I just HAD to have it, so when it was time for demos to pre-order items, it was on the top of my wish list.  I immediately knew what I wanted to make with it -- and here it is!
I made this one and took it to a recent meeting at my upline's house.  It was not difficult to make, just a little time consuming!  I think I will offer this as a class this fall -- what do you think?  I attached the snowflakes to Stampin' Up! mini clothes pins with Tombow Multi, then clipped them onto the twine in between each stocking.  Here is a close-up of one of the stockings:
I layered the new Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper onto the heel and toe of the stocking, then added the "H" or the "O."  Once they were dry, I ran it through the Big Shot using the new Snow Burst Textured Impressions Embossing folder.  I ran the cuff of the stocking through separately, then attached.  I added some ribbon to the top for decoration, and then punched holes and threaded twine through.

I am sorry this post is a little late -- computer issues were finally solved -- yippee!  New battery, new power supply, no problems (hopefully).  I will be posting more fun ideas for the fall this weekend, so I hope you check back soon!  Take care!

The Holiday Mini Catalog is BEAUTIFUL!

The Holiday Mini Catalog is here, and it is beautiful!  I just love everything about it, especially the new stocking die for the Sizzix Big Shot machine.  I am working on a special project that I will post tomorrow, so check back soon.

I know I have not been very good about updating on a regular basis, so I am scheduling time in my week to work on my blog.  I have so much to learn!  Now that summer is winding down and vacation is over, I will be able to devote more time to my blog.  We had a great time in New Hampshire and Maine, and enjoyed our time at Acadia National Park.  If you have never visited Acadia, I strongly recommend it!  It is the most beautiful, serene place I know.

My team and I are hosting a special event on Saturday, October 15th, from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM.  Our Stamp Out Cancer event will help raise funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the American Cancer Society.  If you live in the Baltimore area, and are interested in this event, please send an email to bmorestampers@gmail.com.  I will be happy to send you all the details and a registration form.
