Bloomin' Bouquet!

Mother's Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There's no watering, no weeding--just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.
As if that weren't enough, the kit contains a "baker's dozen" so you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new! Give it to someone you wouldn't normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you'd like to thank.

Ordering information:
Item 134542 $12.95
Available starting April 29, while supplies last.

Kit contents:
  • 2 sheets of preprinted and precut flowers on 12" X 12" cardstock; makes 13 flowers using Pool Party, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzleberry
  • 13 Vintage Faceted Buttons
  • 13 green floral wire stems

Retirement Lists are Here!

It's that time of year again!  A brand-new Stampin' Up! Catalog will be released at the end of May, so now is the time for the annual retirement list!  You can see the retired stamps and accessories on my website http://nancyamato.stampinup.net.  You will find the retired items under the Promotions tab at the bottom of my home page.

The retiring stamps will be available until May 31st, but the retiring accessories will only be available while supplies last.  If you would like to place an order, you can use the Hostess Code CP9HHVH6.  I will keep this order open until May 31st.  Be sure to add the Hostess Code at the end of your order.  Your individual order will be shipped directly to you from Stampin' Up!  So, you can order those accessories and stamps you just "gotta have" before they are gone forever!  Everyone placing an online order will receive a gift from me!  Remember, the retiring accessories will only be available while supplies last, so don't delay -- order today!

If you are local to the Baltimore area, I invite you to stop by on May 18th for my "Retirement Party."  We will be inking up retiring stamps one last time, and I will have a few sneak peek items from the new catalog.  Email stampinnancy@gmail.com for more information.  It should be a fun day!

RemARKable Best of 25th Anniversary Blog Tour: Best of Flowers

Hello, and welcome to the Best of Flowers blog tour!  Spring is in full-bloom here in Baltimore, and this stamp set is perfect for Spring-themed cards.  Here are the cards I have for you this month:

My first card was inspired by Mojo Monday Sketch 287.  When I cannot get my "mojo" going to create a card, this blog helps kick it into gear!

MOJO287

Detail of flower and layers.  The 1 1/4" Circle Punch is perfect
for punching out the flower.

Inside of card

This card features some Patio Party Designer Series Paper and Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, and Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the daisy image from the Best of Flowers stamp set in Midnight Muse ink, then punched it out with the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch.   A Midnight Muse dahlia is the perfect touch for the center of the flower.  I used the Feel Goods and Sweet Essentials stamp sets for the greetings.

My second card is easy-peasy, quick and easy!  I stamped the flowers in Calypso Coral, then re-stamped the image slightly to the right without re-inking the stamp.  This 2nd generation image gives a feeling of depth to the image.  I used the Sweet Essentials stamp set again for the greeting.  The Chevron embossing folder gives the Whisper White panel some great texture and detail and I used Stampin' Dimensionals to "pop" the stamped image off the front of the card.

Calypso Coral and Island Indigo make a great combination.

I like to stamp the inside of the card to coordinate
with the front of the card

My next two cards have a "vintage" feel which I just love.  Lots of sponging with Crumb Cake ink gives them an aged look.  I stamped the flowers with Early Espresso ink, then used So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi, and Pretty In Pink Stampin' Write Markers to color them.  I used the Fancy Fan embossing folder and the Designer Frames embossing folder to give texture to this card.  The Ovals Framelits are perfect for cutting the correct size oval, then I ran it through the Big Shot with the Designer Frame embossing folder.  The sentiments are from The Love & Sympathy stamp set.

My final card uses the hydrangea image from the Best of Flowers stamp set.  I used a Blender Pen to color the flower with Wisteria Wonder ink, the leaves with Garden Green ink, and the butterflies with So Saffron ink.  The butterflies are from the Collage Curios stamp set.  The image is stamped on Very Vanilla card stock and cut out with the Window Frames framelit.  I used the Paper Piercer and the Festive Paper Piercing Pack to add some detail to the edges, then I sponged them with Crumb Cake ink.  I attached the stamped layer onto a larger framelit cut-out with Stampin' Dimensionals to give it some dimension.

The Honeycomb Textured Impression Embossing Folder gives great
texture to the front of this card.

The inside sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set.

Detail of Vintage Brad, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, Victoria
Crochet Trim, and First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper

I hope you have enjoyed my cards!  Now, it is time to visit Linda's blog:  http://www.inkstampandscrap.com/

RemARKable Stamp of the Month: Secret Garden

Hello, and welcome!  I hope you are enjoying the RemARKable Stamp of the Month blog tour.  This month, we are featuring Secret Garden (just in time for Spring!).

Buy the stamp set and framelits together and SAVE 15%!
Catalog #131099 Clear Mount, $36.95
Catalog # 131100 Wood Mount, $42.95

My first card is an Easter card.

I used Tangerine Tango ink and stamped on Daffodil Delight card stock, then used the Secret Garden framelits to cut out the first flower.  The framelits make it easy-peasy to cut out these flowers.  I stamped 2 more flowers on Daffodil Delight card stock with Tangerine Tango ink.  I used my paper snips to cut the smaller inner circle from one and the medium circle from the other one.  I attached a few mini pearls to the center of the flower, then layered it onto the medium flower with a Stampin' Dimensional.  Then, I attached this to the flower base with another Stampin' Dimensional.  (I love Stampin' Dimensionals!  They just give cards that extra pop that makes them look great!)

Here is my second card:

Remember to stamp your envelope for a special touch!

I love Stampin' Dimensionals and Basic Pearls!

Once again, I used Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight for the color scheme for this card.  The fun daisies make this Get Well card bright and cheery.  I love how the framelits cut out these flowers -- quick and easy!

My third card is a flower pot card:

This card uses Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals, and Raspberry Ripple.  Unfortunately, I have needed to make several get well cards lately for friends and neighbors.  I hope these cards have brightened their day!  And, I hope you have enjoyed these cards, too.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy your next stop on the tour – Linda Bartolucci - http://www.inkstampandscrap.com/

The Stampin' Up! Regional Was FABULOUS!!!

Today, over 800 crazy stampers descended on the Baltimore Convention Center for the Stampin' Up! Regional.  There is nothing like the energy created when over 800 talented, creative stampers get together.

I will post some photos on Monday of the great displays and fun Make & Takes.  There were a few sneak-peeks of new products that will be included in the new 2013-2014 Catalog, and I was able to see samples of the new In Colors -- gorgeous!  I cannot post those online just yet, but I will have plenty of goodies to show you from a fun, informative day.  So, be sure to look for that post early in the week.

It is almost time for another RemARKable Stamp of the Month blog tour.  This month's tour will feature the Secret Garden stamp set and starts at midnight tonight!  I cannot wait to see what everyone has created with this fun set!
