Christmas Stamp-A-Stack: Festival of Trees Card

I had the first session of my annual Christmas Stamp-A-Stack this weekend, so you know this week was full of planning and prepping materials!  (Thank goodness for my Stampin' Trimmer!)  The Stamp-A-Stack featured 5 different cards, and each stamper made 4 of each card.  So, by the end of the session, each stamper had 20 cards plus envelopes ready for their Christmas card list. Simplicity is the name of the game for a Stamp-A-Stack.  But, simplicity does not mean "plain" and "boring." That's no fun! (smile)

I will be showing all of the cards this week here on my little old blog, so sit back, relax and enjoy a little bit of Christmas!

The first card we made featured the Festival of Trees stamp set and the coordinating Tree Punch. You save 15% when you Bundle them together -- get both for $27.95!

The little linen thread bow, stamped cardinal, and the Silver Glimmer Paper star add just the right touch to make this quick and easy card one of my favorites!

Here are the supplies you'll need to make this card.  You can order them online at nancyamato.stampinup.net.  Use Hostess Code S3D2CP2E and receive a special gift from me (be sure to give me permission to contact you!).

October Stamp Club Projects

I wanted to share the projects we made last week at Stamp Club.  My Stamp Club ladies meet once a month, and we have the best time!  It is easy to join -- simply let me know you would like to be a part of Stamp Club.  If you are local to the Baltimore area, we meet the 2nd Thursday of each month, and a $25 or more order is due to me by the 15th of the month.  I place all of the Stamp Club orders together, and the Hostess Dollars rotate among Stamp Club members.

Not local?  No problem!  You can still be a part of Stamp Club.  Just send an email to stampinnancy@gmail.com and I will send you all the details.

Here are the projects we made last week:

We used lots of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green for these projects!  Thanks to fellow RemARKable Stamper, Jill, for her inspiration for the card.

We used the new Gift Box Punch Board and our heavy-weight Under The Tree Designer Series Paper to make a cute gift box.

This cute bag just needs some homemade cookies to make it complete!

Happy Stamping,

RemARKable Pinworthy Blog Tour: Winter Holidays

Hello, and welcome to this month's blog tour!  Our theme this month is Winter Holidays, and I know everyone will be sharing lots of great ideas for Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Years.

My first card is one that we made at my World Card Making Day class last weekend.  I was inspired by all of the beautiful pine trees along the carriage paths in Acadia National Park in Maine.  We were lucky enough to spend a week there last month, and I just love the smell of pine as you are hiking.

Here is the card we made:

I just love the vintage look of this card!  It is hard to see in the photo, but I added some Dazzling Diamonds to the pine needles and the pine cone for a little extra sparkle.  The Ornamental Pine stamp set is also good for masculine cards.

The second card is one of my favorites!  I was making Christmas Ornaments with the Bright & Beautiful stamp set, and I thought "What would it look like on a card?"  So, I added one to this quick and easy card.  Heat embossing is one technique that is easy peasy, but always gets a wow!

I used the silver embossing powder for the large and small star.  The medium star was made with gold embossing powder.  Cutting them was a breeze with the Stars Framelits dies and the Big Shot machine.  I layered them with Stampin' Dimensionals, then attached the star to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Understated elegance was the look I was trying to achieve, and I think these beautiful stars do the job well!

Once we were finished with the cards, it was time to do our community service project for the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.  These ladies ROCK and completed 40 cards for care packages for women with GYN cancers.  Thank you, ladies!

Now, it is time to see what Missy Bolinger has for us this month!   Just click HERE to see her beautiful creations.
