October's Paper Pumpkin is Here!

It was a happy mail day earlier this week when I found my Paper Pumpkin kit waiting for me when I got home from a busy day! Here is a look at the October Kit:

I cannot wait to make these cards for friends and family.  Are you a Paper Pumpkin subscriber?  No?  Check out all the details here.

RemARKably Creative Blog Tour: I Love Designer Series Paper!

Hello, and welcome to this month's RemARKably Creative Blog Tour!  Stampin' Up! is having a special this month on select Designer Series Papers:  Buy 3, Get 1 FREE!

So, my projects this month will feature two of the packs on special: Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper.
Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper
Catalog #141981  $11.00
Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper
Catalog #141986  $11.00
My first project uses the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper. It is a gatefold/shutter card, and my Stamp Club ladies loved it this week!

This is a fun, interactive card.  I have a little video of it, and I will upload it as soon as possible.  (Learning curve for this baby boomer!)  I LOVE the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper, and I am so excited it is part of the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE special.  (I may have to buy some more!)

My second project this month is a set of quick and easy Christmas cards featuring the Present & Pinecones Designer Series Paper.

Inside of each card is the same!  Quick and easy!
I just love they way Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron go together, don't you?  This set of cards is part of my Holiday Stamp-A-Stack.

Now, it is time to see what Missy has created this month.  Just click HERE to go to her blog.

Hi, Mummy!

A chill is in the air, the leaves are starting to change color, and pumpkins are decorating our porches.  It must be getting close to Halloween!

Here is a card I made recently:

I love the cute patterns in the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper!  And, I chose two of those patterns to use on this card.

And, the Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper pairs perfectly with it!  I used the new Layering Squares Framelits Dies to cut the scalloped square layer.

I used the mummy stamp from the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set.

This cute stamp set also coordinates with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, so you can punch out them out and add them to your Halloween candy bags and other fun projects!

I stamped the spider webs in the corners with the image from the Sweet Home stamp set.  I added a little glimmer to the spider webs with our Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.  Here is a close up of the glittery spider webs:

Here is the inside of the card:

I used the Spooky Fun stamp set for the inside greeting and spider webs.

I will be sending these cards to my younger nieces and nephews for Halloween this year.  I hope they enjoy them!
