Sneak Peek of Thoughtful Branches

One of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is getting to pre-order products before they are launched.  I just received my Thoughtful Branches Bundle last week, and I finally had a chance to sit down and play with it today:

The "tree" can also be used as a beautiful hydrangea. Here are two close-ups of the blossoms:

The first one is Sweet Sugarplum ink stamped on Sweet Sugarplum card stock.  The second flower is Sweet Sugarplum ink stamped on Whisper White card stock. Both were cut out with the coordinating thinlit, and then I added some shimmer with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.  (Oooohh, sparkly!) 

If you look closely, you can see that I cut two of each flower to give it more dimension.  I attached the flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals, but I made sure to offset the top blossom a little bit so you can see the other flower below it.

RemARKably Creative Blog Tour

Hello, and welcome to the RemARKably Creative Blog Tour! I am so glad you stopped by. If this is your first stop on the tour, be sure to see all of the fabulous creations by just clicking on the "next" button at the end of my post.

One of my favorite new bundles from the 2016-2017 Catalog is the Jar of Love Bundle (#142342, $54.00). 

   
This stamp set is so versatile, and you can use it to make cards for so many different occasions.  It also makes cute tags for goody bags, and the flowers are just beautiful.  If you know someone who enjoys canning each summer, this set would be perfect for little gift tags to label the jars.  Lots of ideas for this bundle!

Here is a greeting card that I designed for my Stamp Club ladies this week:

The Hardwood background stamp is stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake card stock.  This neutral background highlights the beautiful flowers.  Here is a close-up of the flowers:

These flowers were created with Whisper White card stock and ink. And, they were easy to cut out with the coordinating framelits. No fussy-cutting here!

And, here is the inside of the card:

I said this bundle is versatile, and here is another card with a completely different look!

The color scheme for this card came from the Pop Of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper:  Whisper White, Melon Mambo, and Basic Black.  The little hearts inside of the jars were stamped with Melon Mambo three times.  The darkest hearts are Melon Mambo at full strength, and the medium hearts are stamped second, and the lightest hearts are stamped third.  So, you ink the heart stamp one time, and stamp three hearts to get the different shades of Melon Mambo.  I did the same thing with the lid stamp to get three different shades of Melon Mambo.  

Here is the inside of the card:

I used the same greeting, but gave it a completely different look with the hearts.  See how versatile this bundle is?  I love it, and I know you will, too! These cards are part of my "Jar of Love" class. I will post the other two cards later this week.

Double Z Fold Card

I have been seeing so many of these cards on Pinterest, and I just had to give it a try.  

Isn't this just so stinkin' cute?  (pun intended)  This card uses the fun new Foxy Friends Photopolymer Bundle (#142326, $40.50) and the Here For You stamp set (#142164, $18.00).

We made the adorable skunk with Basic Black and Whisper White card stock and the Fox Builder Punch.  

The designer series paper is part of the 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (#141408, $22.00).  This stack has 40 sheets in all, 4 each of 2 double-sided designs in all 5 of the brand new In Colors:  Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Dapper Denim, and Sweet Sugarplum.  I chose to use the Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy for this card.  Emerald Envy is the perfect color for the pine trees, don't you think?

My Stamp Club ladies made this fun-fold card today, and I think they enjoyed it.  In fact, one of the ladies is sending it to someone special this week!

Pop Of Pink Wiper Card

Hello!  I don't know about you, but I just love the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper (catalog number 141648, $13.00) in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog.  The color scheme of Melon Mambo, Basic Black, and Whisper White gives you such a clean, crisp look that I love!

I created this fun wiper card this week.  What do you think?

I used the brand-new Sweet Cupcake Photopolymer Bundle.  The framelits make cutting out these images a snap!

I love the sparkle that our Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush pen gives the cupcake.  I was able to get 3 different shades of Melon Mambo by stamping off the solid image twice before stamping on the card.  I stamped the first detailed image off once before stamping on the card.  And then, I stamped the final detail image in full-strength Melon Mambo.  I think the Wink of Stella looks like clear sanding sugar, don't you?

I planned this project for a stamping party this weekend.  
Unfortunately, I developed pink eye (I promise it was NOT from the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper -- LOL!).  So, I had to postpone this event, but I cannot wait to teach this project!
