Pennant Parade Christmas!

I know it is 90+ degrees outside, but I just had to make a Christmas card with the new Pennant Parade stamp set. I just love it! I used Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, and Real Red for this card. The flower pot and stem were inked with Real Red and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Markers, then stamped onto the Whisper White cardstock. The tree stamp was inked with Wild Wasabi, and the star was inked with Daffodil Delight. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the tree with our 2-Way Glue pen for a fun touch! I stamped "merry" once in Real Red and once in Wild Wasabi, then punched them out with our Jewelry Tag punch. I attached them with glue dots right below the Real Red 1/4 " Grosgrain Ribbon bow. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the tree and framing layers to the card front. Come back tomorrow for another post using new stamps!

Pennant Parade Sneak Peek

Hello! I just love the new Pennant Parade stamp set! It is very versatile, and I will be showing you samples in the next few days. This card uses the pennant as an ice cream cone -- perfect for the hot weather we have been having! I stamped the image with Crumb Cake ink onto Crumb Cake card stock, then punched it out using the new Petite Pennants Builder punch. The scoops of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream were punched with the Cupcake Builder punch using Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and Regal Rose card stock. The striped Designer Series Paper is from the new Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper pack. The yummy ribbon is also new and is one of my favorites! It is called Scallop Dots Ribbon, and it is 1/2" wide. The best part is that it has polka dots on one side, and solid color on the other. I used the Scallop Dots Ribbon in Chocolate Chip for this card. Come back tomorrow for another card featuring the Pennant Parade stamp set!
