RemARKable Best of Christmas Blog Tour
Hello, and welcome to the RemARKable Stampers Best of Christmas Blog Tour! I had fun creating these cards for you -- one has a vintage look and one is quick and simple. The first card was inspired by the old fashioned image of Santa Claus. I think this image is so traditional, and I wanted to make a card that expressed that feeling:
I stamped Santa with Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla card stock. I used my Blender Pen to add color (Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive for his hat) then used a Blush Blossom marker for his face and a Blushing Bride marker for his rosy cheeks! I cut him out with one of our Festive Flurry Framelits, then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to layer onto two larger snowflakes, then layered the entire element onto a Very Vanilla background. (Can you tell I love layering?? LOL) Adding a few of our pearls finishes it off.
A little glue from my 2-Way Glue Pen and some Dazzling Diamonds made his hat sparkle! And, what is Christmas without a little sparkle?
My second card is quick and easy. I simply stamped the nativity stamp in Island Indigo ink onto Whisper White card stock. A few sparkly stars, thanks to Dazzling Diamonds, make it shimmer. The image really pops off of the coordinating Winter Frost Designer Series Paper.

RemARKable Stampers Blog Tour: Festive Flurry

I chose Festive Flurry for my card this month. I have been in a "flurry" this last week getting ready for two big events, so I thought this would be appropriate -- LOL!
And, here is the inside of the card:
I used the Festive Flurry Bundle to create this project. You can save 15% by purchasing the stamp set and the coordinating framelits in the bundle -- woohoo! I also used the Magical Season clear mount stamp ($134777, $5.95) available as part of our Holiday Collection single stamps. The inside greeting is from More Merry Messages (#126400 Wood Mount $32.95 or #126402 Clear Mount $24.95).

I have not forgotten you....
I know it has been a long time since I have posted -- I have been busy getting ready for a huge craft fair! The craft fair was today, so things should be getting back to "normal" (or, as normal as I can possibly be -- LOL!) soon.

Even though it is a warm day here in Baltimore, I know the cold weather and snow will be here before we know it! :-) So, I am happy to announce that the next "Best Of" stamp set is the "Best of Snow."
