Thinlits Card Dies Announced at Convention!

I think the MOST EXCITING new product announced at the Stampin' Up! Convention last week is the fabulous Thinlits Card Die!  Actually, there are two of these dies -- the Label Card Thinlits die (shown above) and the Circle Card Thinklits die.  These new dies cut and score to create a card that flips in just one step -- easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy!  And, they will be available on August 1, 2013 -- yippee!  I saw them in action and I cannot wait to get my hands on them!  Plus, each of these dies comes with extra die pieces that you can use on so many projects.

These dies make it so easy to produce flip cards you can mass produce these fun cards for lots of occasions.  And, the Label and Circle coordinate with other Stampin' Up dies and punches!

Starting August 1, you can order these great dies on my website http://nancyamato.stampinup.net.  Here is the info you'll need:

Label Card Thinlits Die    Catalog #133479     $32.95
Circle Card Thinlits Die   Catalog #133480     $32.95

Off to finish prepping materials for my Christmas In July Class!  Check back next week for some holiday inspiration.

Look at my loot from Convention!

I just got home from Salt Lake City, but I wanted to show you a picture of my loot from Convention.  I took this photo at the hotel as I was packing last night.  Stampin' Up! really spoiled us this year, and I am LOVING it!

Lots of new product announcements, too.  A fabulous new envelope maker, and two new sets of thinlits that make adorable "flip-flop" cards easy as 1-2-3!  A My Paper Pumpkin Promotion for new subscribers, and a stamp carving kit that lets you make your own images into fabulous stamps!

I will give you all the details in blog posts this week.  Now, off to catch a few winks.....

RemARKable Stampers Best of 25 Years Blog Tour: Best of Greetings

Hello!  It has been a fun and exciting week at the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, and now it is time for a fabulous blog tour featuring the Best of Greetings stamp set.

Best of Greetings  Catalog #133485  $14.95
This is one of my favorite stamp sets because it is so very versatile.  It is one of my "go-to" stamp sets for so many projects.  Here is my first project for you today:

I made several of these as swaps for the Stampin' Up! Convention.  I inked one of our clear blocks with Coastal Cabana ink and stamped it on a layer of Whisper White.  The coral stamps were inked with Calypso Coral ink and the seahorses were inked with Baked Brown Sugar ink.  The Calypso Coral Baker's Twine adds a nice touch to this card, don't you think?

Here is another sample for you:

This is one of the cards we made at my Summer Fun stamping class.  I just love this "sunburst" technique.  The "love you" stamp is just perfect for this bright, cheery card!

Here is another card from my Summer Fun class:

This card showcases one of my new favorite colors, Bermuda Bay.  Bermuda Bay was an In Color a few years back, and I am so glad it has been added to our color palette.  I think it is perfect for this card featuring seashells from the By The Seashore stamp set.

My last card gives you a little sneak peek at a new product that will be featured in the new Holiday Mini Catalog that goes live on August 1, 2013.  (Hint, hint.....a new embossing folder!)

The flowers were stamped in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake card stock and then punched out with the Perfect Pansy punch.  I layered two flowers together as an embellishment for the front of the card and added a Basic Pearl in the center.

Well, now it's time to see what Melissa Bolinger has in store for you.  Just click on the icon below or this link   www.stampinup.net/blog/2089191

RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour: Chalk Talk

Hello!  Welcome to another blog tour!  This month's featured stamp set is Chalk Talk.  I purchased this stamp set and the framelits in a bundle and saved 15%!

Wood Mount Catalog #132731  $43.25
Clear Mount Bundle  Catalog #132730  $37.25
My first card uses the "Scribble" technique.  I used the Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Tangerine Tango Stampin' Write markers to scribble onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.  Next, ink up the I Can't Thank You Enough stamp with StazOn Black ink and stamp it in the center.  I embossed the Daffodil Delight card stock with the new Modern Mosaic embossing folder -- one of my favorite toys from the new catalog!

My second card has more of a vintage feel (big shock, I know -- LOL).  This is one of the cards we made at my Summer Fun class.  The butterfly was heat embossed with Early Espresso embossing powder, then So Saffron ink was applied with a sponge dauber to color in the butterfly wings.
The For You stamp coordinates with our 1 3/8" Circle Punch and the I'm So Grateful There's You In The World coordinates with our Extra-Large Oval Punch.

My final project is a great tag for lots of things:  gift bags, sweet treats, and cards.

Cutting with framelits is easy-peasy with our new Magnetic Platform.  No more Post-It Notes for this gal now that I have this wonderful tool!
Catalog #130658   $39.95

I hope you enjoyed my projects!  Now, it is time to see what Missy has created.  I know it will be fabulous!

Swap-A-Palooza Time!

Hello!  I am so sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I promise you I have been busy.  The Stampin' Up! Convention is next week, and I have been a swap-making machine.  I am just starting on my Vintage Christmas Card swap since I just received some new products from the Holiday Mini catalog.  Did you know Stampin' Up! Demonstrators can pre-order merchandise?  Yessiree!  So, tonight I will have to crank the AC down and play some Christmas music to get my inspiration.

Also, a quick reminder that the RemARKable Stampers Stamp of the Month Blog Tour is this Sunday, July 14.  We will be showcasing projects made with the Chalk Talk stamp set.  Be sure to stop back for lots of great ideas.

I will be blogging from Salt Lake City next week and I will let you know the news as I hear it.  I will have my trusty iPad with me.

Well, off to find my Christmas CDs -- lol!  (Here's a peek at my swap bag so far...  I won't even show you my table.  Let's just say my "Creative Minds Are Seldom Tidy" sign is VERY appropriate right now.)
