RemARKable Stampers Pinworthy Blog Tour: Tie One On!

Hello!  We are busy, busy, busy this time of year, but it is nice to make some hand-made gift packaging for a special someone.  And, that is what the theme of our blog tour is this month!  Of course, "tie one on" can mean quite a different thing.  But, this month we are concentrating on gift-giving!

My project is a gift bag and stamped tissue paper AND it is also a little banner that you can use to decorate for this special time of the year.  Just remove the banner from the gift bag and you have a little hand-made gift!

This is one of the projects we made at Stamp Club this month.  The little stars on the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine were simply glued to the twine with glue dots.  Put a glue dot on the back of a star, press it on the twine, then put a glue dot on a second star and press it to the back.  You can either tie the strands onto the banner or attach them with glue dots (like I did -- I did not cut enough twine to tie it).  I covered up the glue dot with a Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine bow.  Easy-peasy!

Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine was also used to string the banner together.  The "tail" ends of the twine were simply taped to the inside of the bag so you can remove it and use it as a home decor item.
Here are the supplies I used for this project:

Christmas is coming.....

Hello! December always seems to sneak up on me -- do you feel the same way?  We decorated this weekend, so that meant dragging all of the stuff out of the attic.  I love, love, love this time of the year, but it is a lot of work.  We got the outside and almost all of the inside decorated this weekend, so no stamping this weekend. But, look at our gorgeous tree:

We like to collect a Christmas ornament when we travel, so there is no "theme" to our tree, just lots of memories of the places we've been and the fun we've had.

Stamp Club is this week, so I will be designing and preparing materials for my club ladies. Plus, I am having a Customer Appreciation event over the weekend, so I need to bake some cookies. (I will have to hide them from the hubby, or they will be GONE!)

The RemARKable Stampers Pinworthy Blog Tour is also on Thursday, so be sure to check back for some stamping inspiration.

I hope you had a good weekend!  See you soon!

Happy Stamping,

Christmas Stamp-A-Stack: Wondrous Wreath card

Hello!  Here is another card we made at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack:

I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) the idea for this card right from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I loved the idea, and only changed it up a little bit.  I embossed the Very Vanilla banner with the Decorative Dots embossing folder, and I eliminated the ribbon.  I also cut the word from Cherry Cobbler instead of Gold.  The ladies really seemed to like it!

Here are the supplies I used for this card:

Remember, the Online Extravaganza starts TOMORROW! You can get the Decorative Dots embossing folder for only $5 with the November 24 Doorbusters (while supplies last).  Order HERE and use Hostess Code 9K2R2PNM.

Bright & Beautiful Stamp-A-Stack Card

Here is the fun card we made at my recent Christmas Stamp-A-Stack:

I love our new Silver 5/8" Satin ribbon, and it add just the right amount of sheen to this classy, elegant card.  Stars are everywhere on this card -- from the Confetti Star Punch to the Lucky Stars embossing folder to the Bright & Beautiful stamp set and coordinating Stars framelits!  And, this set is not just for Christmas.  If you eliminate the "Season's Greetings" stamp and change the color scheme to Real Red, Night of Navy, and Whisper White, you would have the perfect patriotic card!

RemARKable Stampers Pinworthy Blog Tour: Give Thanks

Welcome to the blog tour!  This month, we are featuring projects designed with giving thanks in mind.  Now, Thanksgiving is right around the corner in the US, but I think we should give thanks every day, don't you?

My sister hosts Thanksgiving dinner each year (and I am thankful for that! LOL), and I thought I would give you a sneak peek of the favors I am making:

Isn't he just the cutest thing?

I have seen several of these turkeys on the web, and most of them used the Feathers framelits dies.  I do not own them (can you believe it?), so I had to get creative with my turkey's tail feathers.  I used the Autumn Accents Bigz die instead.

I just LOVE the Curvy Keepsakes framelit dies!

Here is a better angle to see the "leaf-feathers" on my turkey.
Here are the supplies I used for this project:
