Remarkably Creative Blog Tour: Party Animal!

Hello, and welcome to the March Remarkably Creative Blog Tour! This month, we will be showcasing projects made with the Party Animal Suite in the Occasions Catalog.

Here is the Balloon Adventures Bundle (#144708, $53.00).  I just love this bundle, and I REALLY love saving 10% by purchasing it as a bundle (and, it would qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration item if you purchase it before March 31 -- hint, hint!).

The die makes the most adorable pop-up birthday cards...

...don't you think?  And, it was easy to do!  I used the Party Animal Designer Series Paper for the front of the card, and I added a little bling with the fun Party Animal embellishments.
Party Animal Designer Series Paper
142738     $11.00

Party Animal Embellishments
142775     $7.00
What's that yummy silvery-white ribbon on the front?  Well, that is a Sale-A-Bration item you can earn for free until March 31 with an order of $50 (before shipping and tax).  You get 2 rolls of ribbon, one silvery-white and one golden-white when you select the 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (143601).

Stella! Stella!

Well, we are snug as a bug in a rug here while the snow is falling. This will be the "big" storm of the year, and we are expecting 6 to 12 inches of snow.  We have had a very mild winter, so I am actually excited to get this snow storm!  (I may change my mind tomorrow when I have to shovel...)

So, I thought I would run a special promotion during this storm. The name of this storm is Stella, and I just love-love-love our Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

They come in either clear or gold, and they are $8.00 (before shipping & tax).  But, if you place an order of $50.00 or more (before shipping & tax) in my online store and use Host Code ABM7WAYH at checkout, I will send you a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for FREE!  And, you also earn a FREE Sale-A-Bration item, too!  Woohoo!

This special promotion will run from 11:30 PM ET on Monday, March 13, until 11:30 PM ET on Wednesday, March 15.  Please be sure to complete all of the information so I can contact you about which Wink of Stella Glitter Brush you would like, Clear or Gold.

Have fun in the snow!

Medallion "March Madness!"

I absolutely love-love-love the Make A Medallion stamp set, one of the newest Sale-A-Bration products you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase.  You can get this product until March 31 when you place an order of $50 (before shipping and tax).

This card was made with 5 Sale-A-Bration projects!  What do you think?

Here is a close-up of the card front:

And, the inside of the card:

Can you tell which Sale-A-Bration products were used to make this card?  Make A Medallion stamp set, Carried Away Designer Series Paper, Delicate Details stamp set, 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, and the 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack.

I love all the detail in these stamps, and I wanted to show you several different color combinations and how easy it is to create these beautiful images.

The first photo shows Night of Navy and Watermelon Wonder in a tone-on-tone look.  The lighter shades are achieved by "stamping off" onto scrap paper and then stamping onto the Whisper White card stock.

This color combination is Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, and Night of Navy.

Here is Mint Macaron, Peekaboo Peach, and Night of Navy.

Next, I played with Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy.

And, then I just reversed the order and used Night of Navy first and Watermelon Wonder second.  It gives you a whole new look!

Then, I played with Night of Navy and Crumb Cake.

And, finally, I tried Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, and Mint Macaron.  Then, I used Night of Navy, Peekaboo Peach, and Mint Macaron.

I used the Layering Circles framelits to cut out the medallions and I used the scalloped framelits in this set to cut the layers behind the medallions.

You can see that this set is lots of fun, and one you will just "have to have!"  So, click here to shop in my online store.  You can get Make A Medallion for FREE with your order of $50 or more.  But, hurry -- Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st!

New Sale-A-Bration Items!

If Sale-A-Bration is not exciting enough, Stampin' Up! is releasing 3 brand-new Sale-A-Bration offerings tomorrow, February 21.

As a demonstrator, I was able to get these items early and I have had fun creating with them!  So, stay tuned for some fun new samples.

You can earn one of these items for every $50 order (before shipping and tax) you place until March 31.  You can shop online 24/7 in my online store, or email your order to me at stampinnancy@gmail.com.

The Glimmer Paper Stack is oh-so-sparkly and I know it will be very popular!  I suggest choosing that first if you absolutely have to have it!

RemARKably Creative Blog Tour: Oh So Succulent

Welcome to another RemARKably Creative Blog Tour!  Succulent plants are all the rage right now, and Stampin' Up! is on trend with our Oh So Succulent Bundle (#145184, $48.50).

I have to be brutally honest -- I was not a fan of this bundle when I first saw it.  :-)  But, once I saw what other stampers were doing with this set, I knew I had to have it.  And, I am so glad I have this in my stamping room now.  Here are the projects I made for us this month:

My first project is a card that features the beautiful Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper (142778, $11.00).
I only bought one package of this designer series paper, and I can tell you that I will be buying more!  The colors and designs are just beautiful.

The only stamping for this card is the sentiment inside and the succulents on the corner of the envelope.  I used Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaron ink.  This card was part of my Just Cards Class this month.  The die cut on the front of the card is included in our Window Box Thinlits Dies (142762, $38.00).

Speaking of the Window Box Thinlits dies, here is my second project:

This is one of the projects we made in Stamp Club this month. I included a battery-operated candle in the project to make a cute favor that is perfect for a wedding, anniversary party, or shower. Once again, we used Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaron as our color scheme.  (REMINDER - Mint Macaron is one of the 2015-2017 In Colors, so it will be retiring.  Make sure you stock up on plenty of card stock and the ink refill before it is gone!  The new Annual Catalog will launch on June 1, but the retiring In Colors usually sell out before then.  So, get it while you can!)

I used the Succulent Framelits Dies to cut 2 large, 2 medium, and 2 small "hen and chick" succulent flowers.  We sponged each with Mint Macaron ink to give it dimension, and then used a bone folder to curl the petals ever so slightly.  The flower was assembled with Stampin' Dimensionals, and we staggered each layer of petals.  The center of the plant features a metal rimmed pearl, and we set the flower on top of a bow made with our Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

I cannot wait to make more paper succulents with the Oh So Succulent Bundle!  Now, it is time to see what Melissa has created for us this month.  Just click here, or on the icon below.
