Oh, Hello!

Here is another card from my Red, White, and Blue class.  I just love the fun images and sentiments of the Oh, Hello stamp set on page 4 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.  This stamp set coordinates with the Ovals Collection Framelits, and you can buy the stamp set and the framelits together in the Oh, Hello Bundle and save 15%.  You can choose the Oh, Hello Bundle with the wood mount stamp set (131102, $44.95) or with the clear mount stamp set (131101, $38.95).

Oh, Hello Bundle

The Ovals Collection framelits contain 6 framelit dies, and the largest oval is scalloped and measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/8".  I was able to add some paper-piercing detail to the Daffodil Delight oval with the Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack (129387, $7.95).  The Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack coordinates with the Ovals Collection framelits, the Hearts Collection framelits, Bitty Banners framelits, as well as the Ticket Duo Builder punch, the 1 3/8" and 1" Square punches, the Blossom punch, and the Elegant Butterfly punch.

All Dressed Up!

Isn't this just so stinking cute?  I loved playing paper dolls when I was little, and now I am dressing them again, Stampin' Up! style!  This is one of the cards from my Red, White, and Blue class.  All of the cards used either Red, White, or Blue for their color schemes in honor of the Inauguration Day ceremonies and parades.  (And, didn't Beyonce do a great job!  lol)

Here are the supplies I used for this card:
Stamps:
All Dressed Up (129171, $21.95 wood mount or 129174, $16.95 clear mount)
Paper:
Whisper White
Basic Black
Real Red
Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper
Ink:
Basic Black
Accessories:
Dress Up Framelit (130101, $24.95)
Perfect Polka Dots Folder
Apothecary Accents Framelits
Pearl Basic Jewels
1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Real Red

The stamp set and framelits are on page 32 of the new Occasions Mini Catalog.  And, you can get them in the All Dressed Up Bundle and save 15%!  That's what I did!  You can get the bundle in either wood mount (131096, $38.95) or clear mount (131095, $34.95), so you still get to choose the type of stamp you prefer.  Here is a close-up of the "pearl" necklace and the belt.  It reminds me of "Nice pearls, Mrs. Cleaver" but that is probably showing my age -- lol.

You can order all of these great items at my online store:  http://nancyamato.stampinup.net.  And, when you spend $50 (before tax and shipping) you get to pick one of the fabulous items in the Sale-A-Bration brochure for FREE!  Woohoo!

We had a little bit of snow here last night, and we may get a little more tomorrow, so I will be staying inside where it is toasty and warm and STAMPING!   Come back soon for another project.  Have a great day!

Sale-A-Bration Sneak-Peek

Sale-A-Bration begins January 22nd, and here is one of the Make & Takes you can make at my Sale-A-Bration Open House on January 26 & 27.  This little "purse" holds 5 mini note cards with envelopes and is so stinking cute!  What do you think?

The mini note cards are 2 3/4 x 2 3/4" and fit perfectly in our Square Envelopes (#107309, $7.50 for 40 envelopes).  I used the Patterned Occasions stamp set, one of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets you can choose for FREE when you spend $50 (not including tax & shipping).  I wanted to make these notes bright and cheery, so I chose Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, and Island Indigo for the card stock and ink.

The "purse" was made with 2 scallop envelopes cut with the Scallop Envelope Bigz Die (#113462, $21.95).  Just trim the back flap to 1/4", add some sticky strip, and just like that you have a cute little purse for your note cards.  I added a handle for the top with a strip of matching card stock cut at
1/4" x 11".  Just fold the scallop edge down and attach to front with a Stampin' Dimensional.  I decorated the front with the Pretty Petites stamp set -- another Sale-A-Bration stamp set that I LOVE!  It coordinates with the Petite Curly Label Punch which you can also get during Sale-A-Bration!

So, what are you waiting for?  Book your Stampin' Up! party with me today!

Happy 25th Anniversary, Stampin' Up!

RemARKable Stamp of the Month: Hearts A Flutter

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour!  This month's stamp is Hearts A Flutter (#129249, $25.95 wood mount, #129252, $18.95 clear mount).

You can find this stamp set on page 11 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. It is perfect for Valentine's Day and lots of other occasions, too!   I purchased the Hearts A Flutter Bundle and saved 15%!   The bundle includes the stamp set and the coordinating framelits, so cutting out the images is a breeze. You can choose the bundle with a wood mount stamp set (#131098, $42.95) or a clear mount stamp set (#131097, $36.95).  Here is the first card I made:

Hearts A Flutter with the Chalkboard Technique
I am in love with the Chalkboard Technique! This is a fun, easy technique.  Here is what you need to make your own chalkboard:

Basic Black cardstock (#121045, $6.95)
Embossing Buddy (#103083, $5.95)
Whisper White craft ink (#101731, $7.50)
White embossing powder (#109132, $4.75)
Heat tool (#129053, $29.95)
Stampin' sponge (#101610, $3.50)
White gel pen (#105021, $3.95)
Essentials Paper Piercing Pack (#126187, $7.95)

Rub Embossing Buddy all over Basic Black card stock.

Stamp sentiment with Whisper White Craft Ink.  The "Be My Valentine" sentiment is from
the Delightful Dozen stamp set.  (Page 140 of the 2012-2013 Catalog.)

Pour White Embossing Powder over top of Whisper White Craft ink while it is still wet.

Use Heat Tool to melt embossing powder.  The right side of this image shows the embossing
powder after it has melted.  The left side of this image shows the embossing powder
before it has been heated.  See the difference?

Ink heart stamps with Whisper White Craft Ink and randomly stamp all over card stock.  Sprinkle with
White Embossing Powder, then use the Heat Tool to melt embossing powder.

Use a Stampin' Sponge to lightly apply some Whisper White Craft Ink onto card stock to make it look
like erased areas on a chalkboard.  Use a light touch, and be sure to leave some areas un-inked so it
looks like clean areas of a chalkboard.

Use our White Gel Pen and our Essentials Paper Piercing Pack to draw lines around the perimeter
of the Basic Black card stock.

Layer Basic Black "chalkboard" onto Pink Pirouette, then onto Cherry Cobbler, then
attach to Crumb Cake card with Stampin' Dimensionals

Close-up of the banner stamped with Pink Pirouette, Cherry Cobbler, and Crumb Cake ink.
Cutting out the banner is easy-peasy with the Hearts A Flutter Framelits!  I attached the banner
with Stampin' Dimensionals and added Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine bows to each end.  The word
"Love" is from the Pennat Parade stamp set on page 44 of the 2012-2013 Catalog.

My second card was designed with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch in mind.

Here is my version of this sketch using the Hearts A Flutter stamp set:

MOJO275 using Hearts A Flutter stamp set.  Raspberry Ripple, Pretty In Pink, and Old Olive color scheme.

Detail of MOJO275.  I LOVE Stampin' Dimensionals, don't you?  lol
Here are the supplies I used for this card:

Occasions Mini Catalog

The new Occasions Mini Catalog is GORGEOUS!  I just love the product Bundles -- you save 15%!  I think my two favorite bundles (for right now -- I am sure that I will fall in love with the others!) are the Hearts a Flutter Bundle and the All Dressed Up Bundle.

I was working in my craft room today -- nothing creative, just cleaning and organizing.  (lol)  Our Christmas decorations are stored in the attic, so my first task was to finish putting all of the bins away.  Then, I cleared off my desk so I could have room to make some new things for the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour this weekend.  :-)

I will be stamping tomorrow, and I will post a new project -- I promise!  See you soon!

I am excited to be joining other members of the RemARKable Stampers team for a blog tour on Sunday, January 13.  The Stamp of the Month is "Hearts A Flutter" and is a brand new stamp set found in the Occasions Mini Catalog on page 11.  (I would LOVE to show you the images here, but Blogger is having "technical difficulties" with uploading images I have saved to my computer.  And, it is not "operator error" -- lol.  So, I will add it in as soon as this glitch is fixed!  Sound good?)  In the mean time, you can view the entire Occasions Mini Catalog here:  http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/CategoryPage.aspx?categoryid=1176

Valentine's Day is coming up soon, and this set is perfect for making cards and treats for those you love.  And, this set can also be used for weddings, anniversaries, and engagements plus other cards you would use throughout the year.  The banners can be used on many types of cards and they make this set very versatile.

Two Great Promotions for Valentine's Day!

Hello!  Believe it or not, Valentine's Day will be here before we know it, and Stampin' Up! has two great promotions to help you make special treats for those you love.

The My Little Valentine Promotion is also available now through January 21st.  (to the right in the photo above)  During the My Little Valentine promotion, you will get the Sealed with Love Simply Sent Kit FREE-a $7.95 value-when purchase the brand-new My Little Valentine Set.  This four-piece stamp set was created exclusively for this promotion and will not be available again after January 21!  The stamp set is available in clear mount only, but it is available in English (#132242, $9.95), Spanish (#132245, $9.95), and French (#132248, $9.95).
