Happy Spring!

Happy Spring! I know the calendar says Spring, but it is still quite chilly tonight. Hopefully, the warmer weather will be here to stay VERY soon. I saw my first robin this week, and it inspired me to make this card. This was my swap at the RemARKable Stamper's team meeting yesterday. I used the 2-Step Bird punch, Chocolate Chip & Poppy Parade Classic ink; Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, & Very Vanilla (for the bird) cardstock; sponge daubers; and Basic Black & Peach Parfait Stampin' Write markers. The key to coloring the robin is to use the sponge daubers and rub the ink in a circular motion onto the bird punch outs. The beak was colored with the Peach Parfait marker, and I added an eye with the Basic Black marker. Half of a Stampin' Dimensional popped wing up, and the entire robin was popped up by adding another Stampin' Dimensional to the back of the bird. I layered the bird onto a piece of Bashful Blue cardstock, layered with a piece of Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock. I hope you enjoy this card! I WILL be back on Tuesday with a new post. Happy Spring!
