RemARKable Pinworthy Blog Tour: Flowers, Flowers Everywhere!

It's the second Thursday of the month, and that means it is time for the RemARKable Stampers Pinworthy Blog Tour.  Spring is FINALLY here in the mid-Atlantic -- just in time for this month's theme:  Flowers!

My first project is a decorated picture frame:

I used the fabulous Spiral Flower Die to create these roses for the corners of the frame.  The Calypso Coral rose is embossed with the Lattice Embossing Folder.  The Crisp Cantaloupe rose was spritzed with water and "smooshed" for a vintage look.  The Whisper White rose was stamped with the En Francais background stamp and Crisp Cantaloupe ink.  I used my trusty hot glue gun to attach them to the picture frame.

I added a small blob of hot glue to the center of the roses and added one of our large pearls for the center of the roses.  I love the vintage look of these roses, and they are so quick and easy to make!

I have also been teaching the Burlap & Blooms Wreath class this week, and it has been a BIG hit! Here is the finished project gracing my front door:

The kit has everything you need to create this beautiful wreath (except the raffia bow -- that was a Nancy add-on!).  All you need is a hot glue gun.  It has been a fun week of creativity!

The Burlap & Blooms Wreath Kit is in the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog.
