Beautiful Butterfly Card

I have always loved butterflies, so you can only imagine how excited I was when I saw the new Butterfly Basics stamp set and the Butterflies Thinlits Dies.  You can bundle these products and save 15% -- woohoo!  I paired these new products with the yummy Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper, Something Borrowed Embellishments, and my favorite Blackberry Bliss to create this card that we made at a class last month:

I love pairing Sahara Sand with Blackberry Bliss!  It is the perfect neutral for this deep, rich color. Does the greeting look familiar to you?  Well, I pulled the greeting from the Lotus Blossom Sale-A-Bration stamp set.

Isn't this Something Borrowed Embellishment GORGEOUS?  It gives such an elegant look to this card, and is the perfect size for the butterfly.

The small butterfly was stamped with Sahara Sand ink and cut out with the smallest butterfly thinlit. The Blackberry Bliss butterfly was cut out with the medium size butterfly thinlit.  Here's a tip for easy removal of detailed thinlits:  Use a piece of waxed paper from your kitchen between the thinlit and your card stock.  It pops right out -- easy peasy!

Here are the supplies I used for this card:

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for our RemARKable Stampers Blog Tour.  We will be featuring Sale-A-Bration products this month, and I cannot wait to see what everyone creates!  The blog tour begins on Thursday evening, 8 PM ET.

Happy Stamping,
