RemARKable Stampers Pinworthy Blog Tour: Tie One On!

Hello!  We are busy, busy, busy this time of year, but it is nice to make some hand-made gift packaging for a special someone.  And, that is what the theme of our blog tour is this month!  Of course, "tie one on" can mean quite a different thing.  But, this month we are concentrating on gift-giving!

My project is a gift bag and stamped tissue paper AND it is also a little banner that you can use to decorate for this special time of the year.  Just remove the banner from the gift bag and you have a little hand-made gift!

This is one of the projects we made at Stamp Club this month.  The little stars on the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine were simply glued to the twine with glue dots.  Put a glue dot on the back of a star, press it on the twine, then put a glue dot on a second star and press it to the back.  You can either tie the strands onto the banner or attach them with glue dots (like I did -- I did not cut enough twine to tie it).  I covered up the glue dot with a Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine bow.  Easy-peasy!

Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine was also used to string the banner together.  The "tail" ends of the twine were simply taped to the inside of the bag so you can remove it and use it as a home decor item.
Here are the supplies I used for this project:
