Baby Shower Favors

Hello!  Our neighborhood hosted a baby shower for one of the neighbors, and I wanted to share what I made for the baby shower favors.

The baby shower favors are made with the Mini Milk Carton die and the Big Shot machine.  I stamped 4 of the images from the Baby Bundle stamp set (page 61 of the 2012-2013 Catalog), punched them out with the small scallop punch (Holiday Mini catalog), then layered them onto a 1 3/8" circle of Certainly Celery card stock.  The parents-to-be know that their little bundle will be a boy, so I used Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White for the favors.  These colors coordinated so nicely with the plates and napkins we used -- it was a totally "Martha" moment!  lol
I spray painted a willow basket with white semi-gloss paint, decorated it with a little ribbon, and filled it with the favors.  A fun project for a special little baby!

Here are the supplies I used for the favors:

Stamps:
Baby Bundle
Paper:
Bashful Blue
Certainly Celery
Whisper White
Ink:
Bashful Blue
Accessories:
Whisper White striped organza ribbon
1 3/8" Circle punch
1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch
Stampin' Dimensionals
Mini binder clips (office supply store)
Mini Milk Carton die
Big Shot machine
Fun-size bags of M&Ms (these fit perfectly inside the mini milk carton!)

Congratulations to our neighbors on their baby-to-be!  It will be great to have a new little boy in the neighborhood!

  2. Very Crafty! These are simple but cute favors. And they make cute baby shower decorating ideas for boys before giving them away when the shower is done. Love it!
